6GHz VGA from HArogic!

The SGA-60 next-generation USB-powered Vector Signal Generator bridges the gap between laboratory-grade precision and the portability required for modern field operations, R&D, and T&M. It covers 9kHz to 6GHz for applications in modern wireless communication, aerospace, and education sectors. It can generate a diverse array of signals, from standard CW and AM/FM to advanced digitally modulated signals. The inclusion of high-speed frequency and amplitude sweeps, as well as chirp signal generation, makes it suitable for radar testing and component characterization. With a typical output amplitude range of -100dBm to +10dBm, the SGA-60 can simulate everything from the weak signals found at a receiver’s edge to the robust signals required for amplifier characterization. Its USB-powered architecture allows for seamless integration into existing software-defined environments, offering a streamlined workflow that reduces setup time and equipment overhead. https://www.saelig.com/product/sga-60.htm

Not impressive ...

The best software test runs don't look impressive. They look uneventful. Whether lab engineers are running two devices or two hundred, success isn't visible. It's the absence of problems.

In SQA environments, every disconnection is a missed test cycle. Every crash is an investigation. Every timeout is a delay in shipping. The infrastructure underneath the test suite matters more than most teams realize – until it doesn't work.

Cambrionix USB solutions are built so that nothing gets in the way.

Ultimate 4.0 is out now!

#ABI has announced that the new Ultimate 4.0 for its PCB diagnostic systems is out now! This major new software release brings faster performance, improved stability, and a more efficient experience across the SYSTEM 8 platform. 𝐀 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 You can now import full #TestFlow step data from any existing TestFlow into a new one, dramatically reducing development time. This makes it possible to create for instance a master TestFlow with custom instruments, programming, media menus, and other common process elements, then reuse them instantly in new workflows.

Ultimate 4.0 represents a major development investment by ABI, yet remains free of charge to existing users. That combination is rare in the test and measurement industry and reflects a long-term commitment to customer support.

Military Kudos!

Great endorsement for our PCB repair solution from UK's Defence Dept!

"The introduction of ABI’s BoardMaster and RevEng platforms within Defence Equipment & Support and DECA has fundamentally strengthened our approach to electronic obsolescence management. By enabling structured, component-level diagnostics and reverse engineering in-house, we have recovered high-value assets that would otherwise have been subject to costly redesign due to obsolescence or external repair routes.
The scale of savings achieved across multiple programmes runs into the millions of pounds, but equally important is the preservation of technical knowledge and the protection of operational availability. This partnership has been instrumental in helping us extend platform life, improve sustainment resilience, and deliver measurable value to MoD."

Chromebook use ...

Chromebooks have become the dominant, nearly universal, 1:1 computing device in U.S. K-12 education, driven by their low cost ($200+), durability, and seamless integration with Google Workspace for Education. Nearly 9 in 10 middle/high schools and over 4 in 5 elementary schools use them, serving as primary tools for assignments, testing, and collaboration. Chromebooks hold a 58% market share for school mobile devices, largely due to affordability and ease of management for IT teams. They are designed for cloud-based work, featuring fast booting, long battery life, automatic updates, and strong, built-in security.

While they have transformed classroom access to technology, some schools are struggling with device management, such as maintaining inventory and dealing with repair-related learning gaps. Here's an affordable solution!

Why Cambrionix USB hubs?

They are not just "dumb" splitters, but intelligent, high-speed, managed industrial tools used by major corporations for mass device deployment, diagnostics, and data transfer.

Here are some key, high-value use cases:

1. High-Volume Industries  - where managing dozens or thousands of devices is a pain point:

  • IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) & Recycling: Cambrionix hubs are essential for securely erasing data, updating firmware, and prepping old devices for resale at scale.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) / Education:  K-12 schools and IT managers need to sync, charge, and configure hundreds of iPads or Chromebooks simultaneously.
  • Software QA & App Testing: Cambrionix hubs give the ability to connect 16+ devices to a single host for automated testing, reducing test times from hours to minutes.
  • Retail & Device-as-a-Service (DaaS): helps manage large fleets of customer-facing tablets or mobile devices.

2. "Intelligent" Features

We’re not just selling "USB ports" – the added value is the software/control features:

  • Cambrionix Connect Software: gives the ability to monitor, control, and update firmware on all hubs and connected devices locally or remotely.
  • API & Command Line Interface (CLI):  for developers and DevOps teams to integrate the hubs into their own custom automated workflows.
  • Individual Port Control:  turn individual ports on/off, set charging profiles, and monitor power usage.

3. Technical Superiority

  • Thunderbolt Speed: ThunderSync5-C16 PD, which uses Thunderbolt 5, delivers up to 7x faster data transfer than traditional hubs (5 Gbps per port).
  • Safety & Reliability: Cambrionix hubs are designed for 24/7 operation, with intelligent charging that prevents overcharging and maintains battery health.
  • Compatibility: they work with a huge range of USB devices, including Apple, Android, and IoT devices.

For industries with high-volume, mobile device needs, Cambrionix products differentiate themselves from cheap, generic consumer hubs, and, considering the time-saving, intelligent management features, these world-class USB hubs pay for themselves rapidly.
