GREEN Energy - or not?

 

Energy should only be called "green" if the technology powering its generation and distribution is properly repaired not replaced. Too much #Ewaste is still generated by solar and wind power organisations that throw away circuit boards used in converters, inverters, and rectifiers, among others, rather than developing the capabilities to test, diagnose and repair them close to the point of use.

Our mission at ABI and RepairDontWaste.com is to foment the creation of local, low-carbon electronic repair facilities so that critical assets can be effectively repaired, recovered, and reused rather than thrown away. A circuit board repaired at the right standard is 90% cheaper than buying new, produces 85% fewer emissions, and increases operational readiness.
