Using the MSR175 Shock Data Logger Dashboard Software

In this video, learn how to use the MSR175 Data Logger Dashboard software to easily configure an MSR175 datalogger for its measurement tasks.  The MSR 175 stand-alone data logger uses high-resolution sensors to continuously record what happens to goods during transportation. The logger data can then be analyzed very accurately, using the free MSR ShockViewer software, to ascertain damage incidents or to improve transport packaging. It is housed in a small IP67 package weighing only 28g that is completely silicon-filled.

Two 3-axis acceleration sensors (± 15 g and ± 100 g) are integrated in the MSR 175 to record shocks at up to 5000 rdgs/s. The logger’s installed memory can store over 2 million measurements, sufficient for more than 1,000 shocks. Additionally, the MSR 175 measures and records temperature profiles from -20° to +65 °C. A second version of this data logger is available with additional internal sensors for humidity, pressure and light.

Temperature: was the product overheated?
Humidity:  left in the rain?
Light: was the package opened?
Pressure: was the damage done during a flight?

Easy-to-use: the measured data can be quickly transferred to a computer via the USB port. The MSR ShockViewer analysis software is specially tailored to the requirements of transportation monitoring, for the analysis and graphical representation of the data and to automatically create reports.
