The world's leading mining company Vale completed the second round of investments in ABI's electronic diagnostic and reverse engineering systems! ABI and the Repair, don't waste! movement are contributing to the industry's decarbonization by equipping and training technical teams to repair NOT replace critical electronics used in the applications featured below.
As well as being a mining business leading in iron ore, nickel and copper extraction, Vale also operates two large railroads. Vale's trains are used to transport raw materials, grains, and passengers and are pulled by 490 locomotives including the AC 44i from GE. ABI's #BoardMaster & #RevEng units ensure that electronic circuit boards from locomotives operated by Vale in #Brazil are repaired, reused, and NOT thrown away.#BoardMaster is extensively used to extend the life of critical electronics and it is the industry’s go-to equipment for predictive, corrective, and routine maintenance of circuit boards. There isn't another circuit board diagnostic solution on the market with comparable performance at any price. BoardMaster is more tech-friendly and less than half the cost of other comparable alternatives.
Launched in 2015, the Repair, Don't Waste movement is aimed at empowering, training and equipping technical staff to repair rather than replaced industrial circuit boards. Visit RepairDontWaste.com to find out more.
